As one of the newest Smart City project, MAtchUP will take part to the event in order to strengthen the cooperation among Smart City projects, share the best practices and agree on future approaches and strategies.
Three workshop groups will be dedicated to smart cities’ partners, with a special focus on Business Models, Communication and Dissemination:
- Building retrofitting – an exercise on building retrofit, looking at business models, use cases, case studies and technical specifications
- Smart lighting – that will focus on smart lighting and sensors
- Branding – in order to develop a branding strategy for the Lighthouse Programme, partners will be guided through the strategic needs for branding and arrive at an agreed approach to the next stages.
The MAtchUP coordinator will sign the Lighthouse projects coperation manifesto to declare our formal commitment to the European Smart Cities network to design a real engine for Smart Cities growth.
In parallel to this event the Portugal Smart Cities summit is taking place from 11 to 13 April. It will be an opportunity to hear more about the Smart Cities Information System (SCIS) and the European Innovation Partnership on Smart Cities and Communities Business Models Action Cluster. This event will include a range of smart tech experts and decision makers from across Portugal, business and academia representatives from several scale up cities.
