Being a follower city means watching and learning from other cities to then replicate successful solutions and not run into the same mistakes. To this end, the MAtchUP smart city of Dresden (Germany) will welcome the MAtchUP follower cities of Ostend (Belgium) and Skopje (North Republic of Macedonia) for a fruitful exchange of ideas, solutions and results achieved.
Dresden partners’ will walk the representatives of Ostend through a city tour that will touch on energy, mobility and ICT solutions:
- Charging infrastructure from a municipality perspective
- MAtchUP from an energy supplier perspective (district heating, charging infrastructure, battery storage, district future house, smart tenant, flexible tariffs)
- Open data portal (urban platform)
- Parking management and traffic management from an ICT perspective
